September monthly update

September monthly update

Here's your monthly update digest. All comments and feedback are welcomed and encouraged.

What's new this month?

Forms - We've made improvements to the required field error message on forms. Previously if a user had missed a required field that field would be highlighted in red. However, on longer forms, this could be missed or hidden due to the page fold. With this update, an error message will now appear above the submit button telling the user that a required field has not been completed.

Welcome Pack - We've added new sections to the Welcome Pack to reduce the number of questions in other sections. This will make the experience more user-friendly and help us better understand your requirements.

We are currently working on redesigning the Welcome Pack and improving the way it looks/works. We are making good progress on this and can't wait to unveil it for you soon!

Domain renewal - We are now able to monitor domains that are hosted by third parties and warn customers when they are about to expire. If your domain is about to expire, we'll now warn you via email. This will help ensure that your domains do not expire.

New Font Awesome icons - We've recently updated our Font Awesome library which has added some new icons. This also includes two new styles, 'thin' and 'sharp'

Latest HTTP protocol - Speed optimisations have been made on all websites meaning resources such as files and images will now be served to users much faster. This is not only good for user experience but will also be beneficial to your SEO performance.

Branding updates - The font on our front-end site has been updated to 'Poppins' to fit with our new branding. We've also made some colour changes to keep the website in line with the new brand guidelines.

New Webfactory Hub - We've been pushing on with our work on the Webfactory Hub. When released the Hub will completely overhaul the way in which you manage your accounts and your content. Not only have we improved the way the new manager (Hub) will look, but also how it works.

That's it for this month. Follow us on social media to be notified when we post next month's update.
