Why Alzheimer's Research UK

Alzheimer's is a cruel disease that has affected a lot of families in the UK. Here at Webfactory, it has touched us all personally and we would love to help Alzheimer's Research UK in raising money to help them achieve their mission of bringing about the first life-changing Dementia treatment by 2025.

The term Dementia describes different brain disorders that trigger a loss of brain function. Alzheimer's disease is the most common type of Dementia which affects 50% to 75% of those diagnosed. There are currently around 850,000 people in the UK living with Dementia and this is projected to rise to 1.6 million by 2040.
